Week 48 - ITF W75 Trnava, Slovakia - Indoor Hard

Second set she was 2-1 up with a break. Now she's 2-3 down. Hope this doesn't unravel...

Good win against a decent opponent. Tatiana Maria in the final should be an interesting match.

Well done Jodie. Also thought it might unravel in the middle of the second set. Biggest improvement this week I think is her serve. Getting lots of first serves in and also getting a lot of points from it.

Great week for Jodie. Tatjana feels like a horror match-up for Jodie - it will definitely test her patience. Let's hope she's gained some during her time out!

Not sure about Jodie's patience - she got frustrated with herself in the early part of the second set.

Now she's made the final that should secure her SE into Dubai (qualifying sign-in deadline in 25 minutes). None of the players ranked above her are playing this weekend so she should be ok.

That's good news.  I seem to remember Jodie had a good tournament in Dubai last year and enjoyed playing there.

This isn't a qualifying tournament for a Dubai SE. Different regions. Dubai is Asia. This is Europe.

Well done Jodie. Agree with the above. Maria could be Jodies worst nightmare in the final.

Well done to Maddie too.

If Jodie is in the Main Draw of AO with her SR this is the sort of challenge that she needs.
