Thanks Jon. I have been reading here, just I don't generally follow wheelchair tennis enough to really contribute - other than all the best to the GB players!
Definitely and thanks Indy. Its like the college thread - I enjoy reading Lambdas much more in depth reports and analysis that I do here, but enjoy following whats going on and supporting the Brits.
And it is Oda next for Alfie, Oda won group A, de la Puente took Group B. Gordon is about to go 1 set all in his match in group a. He needs to win to go through otherwise it looks like he would lose out on count back to Fernandez.
fear that both their singles journeys will end tomorrow. Oda and Alfie are 8 all career head to head but Oda has won the last 3 and playing better this week.
Gordon is 8-7 h2h v de la Puente but has lost their last 4 matches.
Amazing, Gordon Reid wins 6-2 6-1 for a stunning victory. Gordon was seeded 5, upset Fernandez and de la puente here and won two matches in final set tie breaks. Into the final and in the doubles final later.
