Mikael's older sister Ariana was beaten in the doubles final at the WTA125 in Midland tonight. Has a brother Nicolas also ATP ranked.

To be fair, Ali's efforts this week have been more encouraging - Galarneau is a decent player (is he in the DC team for Canada next week?) and Ali pushed him v close, as well as a good first round one win.

Charlie seems to have really struggled since the glorious days of the grass court summer, which is disappointing

On the face of it, yes a decent effort by Ali G vs Galarneau. Though that was R1 and his only match this week.

ah, for some reason I had in mind he had a decent win earlier this week?! Did he get a decent win last week? Or am I getting him confused?!

Ali G's last win was on 12th September, a decent looking France M25+ R2 win over Bellier (SUI) WR 335.

Then, before this week, 3 not so decent looking losses, leaving him stubbornly outside the top 500.
