Marino playing better and Emma struggling a little with her serve now. Had to save three break points in her previous service game and serves back to back doubles in this one, but holds

Doesnt seem to be being quite as aggressive as she was in set one. Few more errors and doubles. Marino has stepped her game up considerably in set 2, especially on her serve.

Is this quite a slow court? Or Emma not hitting her shots with a lot of zip?

Marino not exactly known for her speed and movement but she's getting to everything pretty easily. Anyway, Emma weathers the storm and wins 6-0 7-5. Lovely.

Very well done by Emma 

Not unreasonable that she will have dips with so little tennis but she dug in, ground it out, saved all these BPs, and nicked that second set.

Two impressive sets in their different ways that should do her yet more good for any more matches here.
