Note to self - be careful of typos, you WILL be spotted!

So, Jake (that's ok, didn't say Jack!) is struggling with Kei, Kei is a set up and a break in the second at 4-2. Still a class act. Am sure he will be back top 30 over the course of next season.

Shame, but Nishikori is still a talented operator and experienced. Jake will get more opportunities, just a blip.

Jan at 4 all with Nardi - had an early break but Nardi has pegged it back.

No disgrace losing to Kei and though it's great that Jake has been like a machine these last few months, the occasional defeat is perhaps no bad thing either.

Couldn't agree more.    All part of the learning curve.

This Helsinki event feels like a genuine event with proper atmosphere and crowds, and a genuine personality - as opposed to some of the events we see in cold sports academies and centres. Our grass events have had that feel, I worry the indoor events planned for Jan and Feb will be more soulless affairs
