Well done, Cam! I saw he'd lost the first set and my heart sank, so thrilled to see he turned this one around. Next match will be very tough, but let's hope this is the first sign of a resurgence.

First ATP tour win since July. He won 2 rounds in ATP Challenger 100 Roanne last month, in reaching the QF.

Djokovic has withdrawn from the ATP Tour Finals and so the final 3 places go to AdM, Ruud and Rublev.

AdM has withdrawn from Belgrade as a result. As of just checking, Rublev and Ruud still seem to be here in Metz, although I would not be surprised to see them drop out as well - why bother playing here?

Which sort of raises a question on the credibility of these events in the week between Paris and Turin and whether they should just draw a line on the Race, as Paris ends, and then have this week as being downgraded to Challenger level events, perhaps at CH175 level?

One way or another, the Paris Masters should be the final counting event for the ATP tour finals. Holding ATP 250 events of unpredictable strength in the following week, that count to the race and potentially the final Finals places, is very messy.

Agreed - it doesnt work. And anyone who had qualified via these events most likely would have played a final Saturday and then hot footed it to Turin to start the next day.

Michelsen is ranked circa 90 places higher though.

Hope Gasquet gets a good set of tourneys in his last 6 months before he retires.

Dimitrov saving himself for Tour Finals alternate duties? - though I guess he might get in from the start if a late withdrawal.
