On a different 'other' story note, it seems that GB has acquired a new player

Emilija Lebedevaite is born in 2009, and up until two weeks ago was playing for Lithuania

She made the semi-finals of the recent J100 in Norway

Details on line shows that she is based in the UK though

And she is now showing on all ITF and Core sites, etc, as having switched to GBR

So, welcome, Emilija !!!!

J60 Finland

13 year-old Daniella Britton wins the girls title 2-6 6-3 6-4

And Louis Hull wins the boys title 6-3 6-3

Just to point out that in Finland GBR has won:

Boys singles
Girls singles
Boys doubles (two players)
Girls doubles (one player)

So kind of us to allow Kiira Pashov from Estonia a little look-in (she was Dani's partner in the doubles title)

Wow impressive couple of weeks for Dani.

Excited to see what happened with her and Megan in the up coming Liverpool J60. I assume theyll both play the J100 in December unless they head off to the USA for orange bowl.

She has been playing all the national G1 and 2s in GB from a very early age (10U) and is permanently based here. Not sure why its taken her so long to switch. wonder if its because she is now at a level to be considered for a lot of British wildcards

Daniella entered both Liverpool and slovakia at the same time. I suspect she wanted to avoid drawing Megan. Not sure where she will decide to play

Am surprised she hasnt entered the Orange Bowl as its her last chance at 14U
