11 out of 16 GB athletes through.
I only expect one overseas player to get knocked out in round 2.

4 points all round (plus 1 for the qualifiers). Good to see the juniors picking up points.

So we've got one through, Millie R. comfortably through, probably the one you expected?

Maybe a couple of ours  more have a decent chance against non GB players.considering its a GB tournament.

Ranah has started well against Costoulas - who was a recent top junior but finding recent success in seniors hard to come by.

Hannah K dropped the first set against Kat Barnes but was briefly up in the second, now back on serve.

Esther, Daniela P, and Alice lost against overseas opposition, while Ella beat Indianna for the loss of only one game (when she was serving for the match). Freya also beat Tegan B.

Think Alice will be a bit disappointed, she recovered from a break down to 4-4 30-0* in the final set.

Hannah is not having a good day, looks so stressed.

Great win for Ranah, Hannah goes down - it hasn't been a great year at all, has it?

Any insight on Kat Barnes? She has only popped up on my radar the past few months.

 She is from Suffolk.

Apparently last Brit to beat Emma R.

Didn't play much on the pro tour after juniors until this season.
