Week 44 - ATP Masters 1000 - Paris, France (indoor hard)

Game 6 set 2 (Fritz-Draper) F takes 12 minutes to hold his serve in a grueling battle, but hold it eventually does. You know what they say about those type of games they are worth more than one game. Next gamt Jack is broken to love.

I know the French lads are being hailed as the next best things in French tennis in singles, but still  bleh.

At least Jamie and John got into the draw!

And 7k. But also a zero pointer. And a disappointing loss.

Wow! Talk about winning the points that matter. For all the world I thought this was going all the way to a third set tie break but Jack finds the points that matter when Taylor was serving to level up at 5all. Well done Sir.

Sir Jack (I wouldn't bet against that happening one day).

Oh well done, Jack, that is a very big win for him, Fritz wanted that one.

AdM next - I'd back Jack for that one!

Big Point Draper, they call him! Or will do!

Jack and AdM is on court one tomorrow, like he was with Fritz. The French keep putting feels like he is quietly getting on with life outside the limelight

Note, the French star of the moment, Mpetschi Perricard, won the opening set versus Khachanov 7-6; yet he only won 2 out of 37 return points! Thats crazy. KK went on to win, of course

Thats Jacks 6th top 10 win and 3rd best by ranking; third since beginning of September and 2nd this month, as well as his win in Vienna to boot. He won the first of those 3 in the past 2 months over AdM in New York, of course.

Jack and Rune both need to take the title this week to stay in the Race.

Tsitsipas needs a final at least

Dimitrov needs a semifinal.

Henry and Harri squeezed through against the Croats, 10-8 in the MTB.

But into the last 8.
