What sort of ranking level would Marcus need to reach to stand a chance of an AO spot? Im guessing David is way too low for that to be as a pair, but with someone similarly ranked to himself? Another 10/20 places higher?

8th title of the year for Marcus (incl ITFs), 7th for David (Im guessing from
Memory and not checking Indys threads!).

70/75ish with a partner ranked the same for AO.

Edit: More like 70 tbh. Cut for this year was 140 combined.

To make 70 Marcus would need to earn about 350 more points as he has 100 due to drop before the end of the year and he has a full set of counters with the bottom 4 all being 25 points.

8th doubles title indeed for Marcus this year, though 'just' 5th for David. Their 2nd title together this year and 3rd overall

With Marcus another Brit now onto 8 titles this year I'll update the leading number of titles this year in the 2024 titles thread in the next day or two.

Of course entry will be based on looking for a combined entry, as indicated, probably in the region of 140 to 150.

It strikes me that Marcus is a player who could attract a higher ranked partner to get the necessary combined ranking, even if he individually is in say the 80s or 90s.

For now, he has moved up to a CH 81.

I could certainly see Marcus getting a partner ranked in the 40's to 50's
