Katie has got Priscilla Hon in round 1 and either Okamura or Baptiste in round 2.

This is a very low quality 500 and a good chance for Katie to pick up a load of points providing she's fit and has something left in the tank after a long but good season.

Busy day tomorrow. Mika is 4th match on Centre followed by Katie. Liv and Tereza are 5th match on Show Court. Over in China, Harriet should be playing at around the same time as well as Sam and Eden.

Well, that was strange...I was looking at live scores for Japan Open on Google. At 6-7 in the tiebreak the next point went on to go to 6-8, so Uchima had won 4-6 6-7, or so it seemed. But then I find that was wrong. Was there an over rule or something on that match point? Great effort to get the second after being reeled in both from 5-3 in games and from 6-3 in tiebreak
