When I first looked at the draw it had Isabelle Lacy in as a WC playing Bertacci. She has now been replaced by a qualifier.
I think the ITF must have made a mistake - she was down for Shrewsbury (+ 5 others not including Monastir) and only withdrew on 11th October.
She wasn't committed to Shrewsbury and was eligible to play elsewhere. She presumably withdrew from the Shrewsbury alt list once she'd asked for and been given the WC here. She was also entered in doubles with Yesypchuk to play Semenistaja/Hou.
But to ask for a wildcard - and THEN withdraw - seems as though either there was a mistake or something rather dramatic happened
I also note that she's withdrawn from all her 21 Oct week events and all the 28 Oct week events (she was entered into 5 or 6 for each week but all cancelled now)
