I know, Var - you're not wrong but it's a cheap little hobby, gives me something to fiddle around with, and always comes out well up on the year

The girs have done great today

The wins for Beth, and Marni, and Hep, are real mega points

And two more guaranteed GB winners today, of course

I imagine they'll move the other matches onto court 3, as the final match on that court looks as though it should be finished in 20 mins

Do you ever do say a silly punt on a slam, like say Jake to win Wimbledon or something? I always fancy doing that but its not very ladylike! Lol!

I did bid on Emma at 66/1 to win the US Open,   when she did  ( each way  though, bit of a coward)

I'd say!  Hopefully it was more than a 30p investment

So Mimi beat Hep, 0 and 2. Will be a tough match next for her.

Yes, Jodie or Sonay next for Mimi.

For now, Mimi is up to live ranked 438, live GB #12, and at just recently turned 17 yo will now be GB's top ranked teen ahead of Ella.

Will be interesting to see to see what Mimi does next. Assuming she will play AO juniors? Then assuming she still has A levels to take in the spring.

Sonay comes back from an early break down to break twice late on and take the first set 7-5.

Nice little punt on Sonay to take that first set at *2-4 down     Though I think Jodie did have SPs when serving at *5-4 up.

Has looked a good match for the most part from what I saw but the commentator echoed exactly what I was thinking re it has so far come down to Sonay currently being so much more match hardened.

The Klugman-Stoiber v Aney-Papadakis dubs qf is showing as 'Void' on Bet 365. Does anyone know who has withdrawn?

Live scores show a win for Stoiber and Klugman 5-4 up in the first set.
