Oh gosh, Leolia Jeanjean is playing right now. if I'd drealised I might have tried to get to Shrewsbury to cheer on on. Even if she wins I am unfortunately too busy rest of week .

Play stopped on court where Jodie is playing. Conversation re water (rain?) coming down onto court.

All the money is on Hannah

The odds were 11x for Hannah yesterday - and they've crashed to 5.50 now

I put on two x 30p yesterday - big spender, that's me

Will cash out one of the 30ps straight away - lock it in

Really C D? I dont think Hannah will take a set off Sonay TBH. Hasnt been on form much this year IMO.

 No, neither do I

But that's the point about betting - it doesn't matter what happens, it's the odds that count biggrin

So 11x was way too cheap, everyone saw that, and I've now locked in a nice profit there before they even hit a ball

The other 30p I'll run with - Hannah was playing pretty well in the doubles yesterday and that's tennis - it's not whether Sonay would win 9 times out of 10, it's the one-off thing that counts

I'll still have done just fine if Hannah loses

Does anyone know why play is still halted on Centre Court?

Looks like they are just on a warm up after the rain delay!

see above re water on court-rain or condensation. The problem probably has not been resolved to the players' satisfaction.

Great win for Beth 7-5 in the third. Mimi very comfortable over Ranah so far.

Ranah getting treatment at 2-6 2-5* which feels a bit pointless.

So Ranah has a short medical timeout and that upsets Mimis momentum as she failed to serve for the match. Still 5-3 up. Dont think Mimi will be very happy with that!

I know, Var - you're not wrong but it's a cheap little hobby, gives me something to fiddle around with, and always comes out well up on the year

The girs have done great today

The wins for Beth, and Marni, and Hep, are real mega points

And two more guaranteed GB winners today, of course

I imagine they'll move the other matches onto court 3, as the final match on that court looks as though it should be finished in 20 mins

Do you ever do say a silly punt on a slam, like say Jake to win Wimbledon or something? I always fancy doing that but its not very ladylike! Lol!

Ranah had a BP for 5-5 to come back from a double break down at which point, according to the ITF momentum stats, Mimi served 2 of her 3 aces of the match.
