But was VERY happy watching those last couple of games - well done, Dan !
come again? The man represents a hostile state.
I assume you're talking about Bu and not Dan ?
But I didn't 'represent' Boris when Boris was GB's leader
So I'm not imparting a country's politics onto Bu
All I know is I saw him play live this year, and he was a real pleasure to watch, in his tennis, his action with the crowd, and his opponent - unless I learn that he'd the devil incarnate, I like the guy
I always think of Dan and Tiafoe having quite a rivalry and playing good matches - they are 4 all H2H in fact, and my mind always goes back to them playing Delray Beach way back in 2019 in a humdinger of a match. Dan retired last time out, in Vienna last October, but won their last finished match in Washington earlier last summer.
Tiafoe is of course world ranked well in the top 20, is top seed here as well - and is clearly going to go in as favourite. But it is his first outing in the tournie and Dan has played 3 matches here now, so could be well played in and stand a decent chance.
Takes Evo up to 158 in the live rankings as well, so good progress this week for him - will give him a lot of confidence for rest of the indoor season, hopefully
