Pity.

Away from home grass court tournaments, where she has had some very impressive wins and close losses over the last couple of years, Millie has curiously still to beat a top 500 player anywhere else on the pro circuit..

Probably is a good idea to drop back to W15 level to try and build some momentum.

I agree. And getting some cheap ranking points to get her ranking a little higher so she doesn't have to go through W35 qualifying for not much reward wouldn't go amiss either. But that doesn't seem to be the plan.

Well she's down for the main draw here again next week, but 11th on the alt list for the W75 in Bratislava the week after that. But to avoid W35 qualifying she's going to need to get her ranking up inside the top 500 at least which means picking up another 40 or 50 points from somewhere.
