H2H is 1-1. Katie won 3-6 7-5 2-6 in Melbourne in 2021. Coco won 6-2 6-2 in Montreal in 2023

Liv is up to a new CH at WR45 in live rankings (net +35 points), but Tereza stays at WR47 as she has points to defend (currently net -95)

Good stuff from Liv+

Could be the top seeds, Dabrowski (WR 4) & Routliffe (WR 2) in the L16 ( they play their opening match tomorrow ). But for now, yes, Liv is showing as currently live ranked 45 as against her CH 48 and now with no further points to defend until February.

I suppose the result is no surprise, but Katie was pretty competitive. I thought a few close misses and the occasional wrong shot selection made the difference.
