In the early action not good news in Tulsa as Jamie loses easily in straight sets and Luca goes out in 3.
Imogen is enjoying her week in North Carolina as she extends her winning run to 4 matches, winning with a bagel 2nd set. Millie had a bad start going down a double break in her first 2 service games which she got to within a deciding point of recovering, but couldn't quite manage it and lost the 1st set.
Alicia struggled to close it out, with Savannah coming back from 1-5 to level the 2nd set 5-5 before Alicia won the last 2 games. Gabia dug deep for an excellent win against her ranked opponent. Not sure where she got the energy from for a 3rd set and she was clearly running on fumes in the 2nd set. There were lots of punishingly long rallies. I was exhausted after 3 games!

Alicia faces another Brit with Gabia's unexpected run to guarantee us a British qualifier. Can Gabia continue the run and qualify for the main draw from being the only pre-qualifying wild card?

Its a set all in the battle of the Brits, although Gabia could and should have won it as she lost the 1st set from a commanding 4-0* and 5-1* lead. But kudos for sticking with it and winning the 2nd. I thought she would check out mentally.
It's *5-5 in Talia's match in the 1st set and Imogen has just started.
And looking at his ITF profile , it appears not. A junior high ranking of just inside the top 900, and no results of note on ITF tour - lost to ewen Lumsden, winning just 2 games, last time he played.
