The final 2 rounds of pre-qualifying are both today. All our men face seeded opponents Tough ask for the men to progress further.
Men PQ2: Freddy Blaydes (Georgia) 8.7 v [pq17-32] Julien Penzlin (Louisiana State) 6.7
PQ2: Derrick Chen (Cal) 8.1 v [4] Bryce Nakashima (Ohio State) 6.0
PQ2: Luka Petrovic (Tulane) 8.7 v [pq17-32] Emon Van Loben Sels (UCLA) 6.7
PQ2: Oscar Brown (Duke) 8.3 v [pq7] Jelani Sarr 6.0
PQ2: Billy Blaydes (Auburn) 7.1 v [pq9] Lucas Brown (Texas) 6.3
PQ2: Anthony Wright (UNC) 9.2 v [pq17-32] Oscar Lacides (Oklahoma) 6.5
And now I know who is in which draw, just to mark your cards for the qualifying and main draws Will Jansen, Oliver Tarvet and Lui Maxted are in the main draw Jamie Connel, Max Basing and Luca Pow are in qualifying
Women PQ2: Given Roach (Georgia Tech) 15.3 v Tomi Main (TCU) 14.7
I know little about Jamie Connel (he didn't play much juniors) but all the other players are 'big' names (to me) - will be really interesting to see how they pan out
Men PQ2: Billy Blaydes & Will Nolan (Auburn) 7.4/10.4 vs [pq2] Maxime St-Hilaire & Frank Thompson (Virginia Tech) 10.2/9.4

Freddy Blaydes, Oliver Tarvet, Connor Thomson, Lui Maxted (WC) and Alex Okonkwo (WC) will be in the main draw. I can't see we have anyone in the list of qualifying teams.

Grace Piper is our only direct main draw representative Qualifying: Immi Haddad, Jaquelyn Ogunwale, Millie Bissett
I know little about Jamie Connel (he didn't play much juniors) but all the other players are 'big' names (to me) - will be really interesting to see how they pan out
And I believe there's a livestream too, yes?
All the links for streams, scoring, etc are on the tournament pages
The cracked racquets stream I believe is only for the main draws. The individual court streams on Track Tennis (men) and Playsight (women) are available for all draws. The men's TT streams yesterday didn't have on screen scores or who was playing. The women's Playsight streams require a Playsight account.

I don't think I've come across Savannah before. But she was one of 3 wins for the women. Referee was called in Kristina's match towards the end after a "ridiculous" call (according to her coach - I thought it was correct) who then observed the last few games.
PQ2: Given Roach (Georgia Tech) 15.3 LOST TO Tomi Main (TCU) 14.7 | 2-6 6-4 2-6
PQ2: Jaquelyn Ogunwale (Miami) 14.6 v Gracie Epps (Oklahoma State) 14.7 | Jaquelyn gave WO

PQ2: Ellie Blackford (Michigan State) 16.4 LOST TO Salakthip Ounmang (Oklahoma) 13.7 | 4 & 6(4)
Congratulations to young Gabia and also to Imogen who go through to join Millie, Alicia and Talia in qualifying. Gabia was completely spent in the first half of the deciding set and I think a break down so especially well done to come back and win.
*The drawsheet currently has the score for Gabia's match the wrong way round as the scoring machine broke towards the end and it was manually reported, or in Gabia's words "the scoreboard is tired like my brain". There is a lucky loser spot in the qualifying draw who will play Alicia, so may still be a chance for Savannah.
PQ3: Oscar Brown (Duke) 8.3 LOST TO William Mroz (Illinois) 7.3 | 1 & 4 PQ3: Anthony Wright (UNC) 9.2 vs [pq11] Santiago Giamichelle (Ctrl Florida) 5.9 | Still playing

In doubles, there was more success for the men and a mixed bag for the women.
PQ2: Billy Blaydes & Will Nolan (Auburn) 7.4/10.4 DEFEATED [pq2] Maxime St-Hilaire & Frank Thompson (Virginia Tech) 10.2/9.4 | 4 & 5

Pre-qualifying is now completed and qualifying starts today. Jamie and Luca have tough draws against higher ranked opponents and top seeds, although Jamie does have a better WTN than his seeded opponent. In the women's draw Savannah does get a reprieve to play Alicia as a Lucky Loser. Talia and Millie face higher ranked opponents.
