For the main championships I'm going to see if separating out them out from the main US College discussion works.
The ITA All-American Championships, the first major tournament of the 2024/25 season, starts this weekend. This is the first of 4 events where players can qualify for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships at the end of November. The 8 single quarter-finalists and the 4 doubles semi-finalists go forward to the NCAAs. In addition there is a feed-in consolation draw for singles losers up to the Round of 16 and the 2 finalists of the consolation draw also qualify for the NCAAs.
This event is a 64 main draw, 64 qualifying and 128 pre-qualifying for singles and 32 main draw, 32 qualifying and 32 pre-qualifying for doubles. Pre-qualifying take place on Saturday and Sunday, qualifying on Monday and Tuesday and the main draw starts on Wednesday and goes through to Sunday.
The women's event takes place at Cary Tennis Park, North Carolina while the men's event takes place at Tulsa, Oklahoma.
All the women I expected to see have been selected. The only one I am perhaps slightly disappointed not to see is Eva Shaw.

Thanks Lambda - thats great and a good idea. Makes it much easier to follow. Two questions - can you remind us of the other three events in the qualifying series? And what happens to the eight who get through - are they precluded from the other three events or do they still play those anyway?

The remaining 3 events are Regionals - weekends of 12 & 19 October Sectionals - 7 to 10 November Conference Masters - 7 to 10 November
Players that qualify for NCAAs can play the Regionals but cannot play the Sectionals or Conference Masters. Those that go to the rounds immediately before the rounds for NCAA qualification here (Ro16 losers) or in the Regionals (QF and SF losers) get priority acceptance to the Sectionals.

Feels to me this new schedule puts a bit more structure and focus on the NCAA circuit as a natural conclusion.
For the conference masters, do the players have to choose between those and sectionals? What determines who plays in which as they clash in terms of dates?

Most will play the Sectional Championships. The Conference Masters is just 1 player for each eligible conference selected by either a designated conference tournament or other agreed selection process.

In a change to the women's draw Sally Pethybridge now plays Given Roach in an all GB match. Ellie Blackford (Michigan State) also came in as an alt and won her debut US College match. Also to note that Gabia got into the draw as a host wild card - the women's event being co-hosted by Duke, UNC Chapel Hill and NC State - and is currently a set up.
A very good day at the office for our women in singles with 8 British winners in our 9 matches. Jasmine came from behind in the final set to clinch victory.
