Glad that the girls came through unscathed in R1 (apart from Freya, playing the Russian 14 year-old)

Brooke's loss to the top seed is no real suprise - might have hoped for a close score though

In the QF, Allegra now plays the winner of last week's J200

Isabella ended up losing to the runner-up in last week's J200

But Flora got a win

(3) Flora Johnson def. Anna Bazderova(***) 3-6 6-4 6-4

(2) Mika Buchnik (ISR) def. Isabella Wong 6-2 6-1

The results are finally up

And Flora has made the semis

Which I think will be 120 new points for her

Which I think will get Flora into the top-100

Conor also posted a good win over the second seed, but lost his second match. Brooke at least will be in the doubles semis, but some other Brits are yet to play.

They are having a tough time of it in Durban with the weather. Another washout today means semis and finals are scheduled tomorrow. Not only that but doubles matches from round 1 to the final in some cases. If successful Flora will have to play 2 singles matches followed by 4 doubles matches should the weather hold (I suspect the weather will force them into playing doubles on Sunday, if that is an option for the organisers, or abandoning if not)

Unfortunately the weather didn't play ball and it seems the organisers didn't have the option of an extra day, so all the events have been abandoned without any further play.
