Had the stream on ready for the for at least 10 minutes. Have to say the build up light show and what not would put a lot of 250s to shame for the efforts put in.

Saved match point at 5-6 30-40 with a massive forehand that halys thought was out

Final:  (8) Jacob Fearnley WR 164 defeated (4) Quentin Halys (FRA) WR 108 by 0-6 7-6(5) 6-3

For a long time, it looked as though Jake had completely run out of steam, but somehow, I know not how, he turned it round & turned himself into a !!!  biggrin  Took a while to kill it off in the ninth game of the decider - several match & break points came & went - but a gutsy performance by the look of it!

Brilliant result from Jake, although that final game was VERY painful! Lot of emotion there at the end. (And Halys will be absolutely kicking himself. He really should have won that and made quite a few bad errors towards the end.)
