Ive just been reading the Conor Niland book and he has a decent section about his big match with Mannarino at Wimbledon, when he lost in 5 tough sets with half of Ireland there.
He basically says Mannarino has one of those games where he hasnt got big power, he hasnt got one killer shot or a big serve, but he basically does everything well and efficiently and seldom breaks down; with nice touch and feel. But basically hes always there, consistent. But the big power players or players with a killer shot can overcome him.
Dont know where that leaves Jakes chances but Mannarino has been doing that for 15 years or more now and has bags of experience to bring to the court as well.
I was just going to say that I have always thought that Mannarrino has days when he just doesn't really turn up. So guess I would digress from the view that he is always there.
Whatever, I too think that Jake has a decent chance.

Not saying I agree with Conor! More on that book elsewhere!

Also he wrote it in 2011, Mannarino has gone for 13 years since then and his game has no doubt changed and matured or not, as the case may be!
