Week 37 - WTA250 - Jasmin Open, Monastir, Tunisia - Hard

One more win looks like it would almost certainly land Emily into the top 100.

QF:- Emily Appleton (GBR) / Martyna Kubka (POL) CR246 (112+134) [4] v Anita Wagner (BIH) / Ekaterina Yashina (***) CR422 (216+206)

The other quarterfinal line-ups won't be known until Wednesday evening at the earliest. Just the two doubles matches on the OOP for tomorrow, with Lissey and Maia/Lily playing

Huge opportunity for Emily here. That's an extremely soft quarter final for this level. Everything crossed for her.

Emily and Sam over in Mexico can go top 100 with one more win in their respective events

That's a good win. Parks can be fantastic or garbage but should really be in the top 100

A shame Hannah caught her on one of her better days in Wimbledon qualifying.

In a 3rd set littered with service breaks Sonay has just broken back for 3*-4 but I'm not optimistic. Her groundstrokes are largely lacking in depth and penetration and she seems to be relying on her opponent making errors.

That was a good recovery, from 2-4 down to winning 7-5.

Great job. Looked like both players struggled to get a clean hit on the ball - windy?
