Week 37 - 2024 Davis Cup Finals, Finals Group Stage - Manchester (Indoor Hard)

I was tempted to go on Sun - lots of tickets still available.
I might hang on until after the first set of games to see whether the game will not be a dead rubber

Canada beat Argentina. 2-0 with doubles still to come. Shapo beat Cerundolo 5 and 3, FAA beat Baez 3 and 3.

Ended up 2-1 to Canada as Argentina took the doubles; 5-2 in sets overall.

Canada will be favourites to be one of the teams progressing to Malaga

Yes I realised the same today searching and not finding any Canada v Argentina action. I suspect this might be due to the official DC web site trying to sell live stream of the same..

With a 1pm start, anyone know when the line ups for the day need to be released? Presumably by 11 or noon latest?

Sorry, just remembered Dan up first, of course. Should see off Vasa; Billy versus Virtanen is a toughie for Billy, so need Dan to get that win

I see Evo and Neal are down as proposed doubles team!

Yes, Evo looking slightly jet lagged O thought after the first exchanges and Vasa playing well above his ranking. Big serve and big FH.

Evolution needs to get this done in two. Lots of variety required to expose the Fin.

I was really thinking about the 2nd and 3rd rubbers!
