Anna won her 2nd singles match 6-0 in the rain. This continued and all further matches have now moved to the dark indoor courts a few miles away.
I see Anna also won mixed and womens today and is into the knockout stages of all 3 events.
Good luck to her in all of those tomorrow, looks like she is top of the bracket in singles and mixed, womens looks like it would be a bit tougher given your comments above.
Yes the women's will be tough. I expect the mixed to ok for them, as they have over the last six years been a long way ahead of the best opposition.
The singles might be awkward. The standard of the officials has been shocking. In fact the worst I have ever heard of. I have even seen it on the live cam. The poor indoor courts and the heavy rain have also been a factor. Also, the French 2nd seed is a big danger. She lives on clay and is playing well. UTR wise, Anna will most likely win, on hard for sure, but clay is not a surface Anna plays on that much. Last year Anna won a tough final against her 6-3 6-3. So it should be a decent final. Weather wise Saturday looks bright, but cold. So hopefully, it will be on the livestream.
But things are good and Anna is in with a chance of medal in four events. The singles, mixed, women's and the team prize. Which is based on the placings of two players. Last year Anna was 1st and Lily 12th and that was enough to give them silver. My guess is that this year bronze is about the best they will get, as Lily is likely to be 12th again or 13th this year and the OZ teams look to be doing better. Anna would be happy with any colour medal in the team and women's doubles.
Well done to Anna for winning her singles QF match very comfortably. Mixed and womens results dont appear to be up, have they been played and the scores are slow at loading, or are they delayed?

Yes, they are late.
Anna had a wobble at the end of that match and dropped a game. They then shoved in the women's semi dubs in. Anna did her best given the circumstances and lost a very long match 7-6 5-7 9-11.
Her much delayed mixed doubles qf is live on stream now. They are 5-2 up
Eva is in that one again. The French pair are decent.

So semis of singles and mixed today and bronze medal match in womens doubles?
Busy day but hopefully lots of success.
Her singles opponent is Kelly Wren, an Aussie seeded 4th - how does Anna match up with Kelly?
Thanks Jan and all
Kelly tries really hard, but is a bit older, late 40's. She used to win these events. Anna usually beats her 2&0 or 0&0. Today it was 0&0.
Anna has a 3rd/4th playoff in the women's doubles. She is in the final against Eva. A girl who has just turned 17 and she will be tough to play with the home crowd with her. Last year it got very loud in the final in Vichy. There is also a tough semi in the mixed to play. But all going to plan so far.
Thanks Heavy rain affected today, so the doubles were reduced to short sets. The score for the women's doubles 3rd/4th was 4-1 4-2. (Wrong score on their system) so bronze for that. The mixed doubles semi score was 4-1 4-2.
Anna's singles semifinal was 6-0 6-0.
Eva is a real danger in the final tomorrow, so not counting on that result. It could swing either way.
I expect that Anna and Dominic will win the mixed, but you never know.
I think Anna and Lily will get a bronze team prize.
Dom and Fab will either get a gold or silver team medal.
Fab and Dom are in the men's doubles final and are favourites to defend their title.
Olly has taken advantage of Fabs unexpected loss in the QF's. Archie from Australia is a big favourite to defend his title in the final. Even so, 2nd place is a big achievement and he has worked hard for his place in the final.
Olly and Aidan have a 3rd/4th place playoff with an Australian team in the men's doubles. That could be a 50-50 match.
Oh, I missed out Robbie in the 3rd place playoff for the ii2 section.
The weather tomorrow looks sunny and dry, but cold. So hopefully, no flooded courts like today.

Nerves, bright sun and wind affected the serving today of both players today. However, apart from that the play was intense and fast paced. There was a large partizan crowd that was only competed with late on in the match after the boys doubles were complete. Anna nearly went 4-1 up in set one, but double faults cost Anna. Nervy play saw her lose five games in a row and the set 6-3. Anna fought back in set 2 and went 5-2 up. There was some very intense battles and some close games made it 5-5. Anna really dug deep to win set 2 7-5. The tiebreak started well for Anna and she went 5-0 up. From there it was a battle to the finish line, finishing 10-6 to Anna in 2 hours and 20 minutes.
Anna won the mixed doubles final with Dominic 4-0 4-0.
So she ended up with 2 golds and 2 bronzes.
Olly won silver, after a tired performance in the men's final. Dominic took the bronze.
The men got gold (Fab and Dom) and bronze (Audan and Olly) in the men's II1 doubles.Plus a bronze in the II2 section.
We are very proud. Despite the serve being off today, Anna really got stuck in and battled in a very high intensity match. She really up her level as the match went on.
Robbie actually got a bronze in the ii2 doubles as well. So two bronzes for him in his first international tournament.
