And he's been lucky with his opponent in the next round:

That said, Lock beat the sixth seed, Holmgren, in straight sets in his first round match...

Not been following this at all, but promising results for JPJ so far, excellent! He seems to have a pattern to his play in these two matches!! Lost the opener, won the second and demolished the third. It is like he is working out his opponent, and then gradually imposing himself. If that is the case, it is impressive and bodes well in terms of his matchplay and strategy and on court intelligence.

Dzumhur is a real step up though, a bit of a free hit. He already has a ranking boost of around 40 places from this week already, making good steady progress!
