Back to Dan, of course the first entry in the list last month was Dan and Andy for similar reasons of heroic endeavour. Hopefully Dan can go on and build on it this month, with this event to finish and Davis Cup to come.
1. Dan Evans. Do I need to explain? For winning the longest ever US Open match over Khachanov, at 5 hours 35 minutes, and backing it up with another win over 36th ranked Navone in reaching the third round, where fatigue caught up with him. Inspiring and gutsy.
2. Max Basing currently ranked 1000+, reaching final of an M15 beating 5th seed 522 and 7th seed, highest ranking also in 500s along the way.
Just tidying up the list!

3. Jack Draper. only the 4th British player to reach the US Open semi in the open era. Getting to his first slam semi final at the US Open without dropping a set ( he couldnt do a Raducanu could he ? ) including a win over the conqueror of Alcarez and top 10 ranked De Minaur . Hes showing himself to be a potential slam winner !

Interesting to see if any of the players in action this week get on our list - Jack already needs a big narrative upgrade and maybe more! Mimi, Mika, Charlie, Hannah and Viktor all in action in US juniors still. And Alfie and Gordon going well in Paralympics, as did Andy / Greg in quad doubles at the Paralympics as well, gaining silver medal in their 6 pair field
As we near the end of week 2 of 5 for this month, remember anyone can nominate at any time - close date is September 29th (a long way off still!)
