Please tell me that one of our 6 doubles pairs in the third round is going to reach the quarterfinals.

Thank you! It was an incredibly surreal moment for all of us. Sadly not quite replicated today but that's tennis!

Disappointing for Joe and Rajeev, wonder if this is their last year together. Seems like a fair few Brits who could be potentially looking for new partners for next year!

Neal and Michael down a set also. Boyer and Nava are new to me this tournie, need to find out more about them!

Boyer is Stanford, Nava is cousin of Ernesto Escobedo. Both have won challengers and I recognised their names from that but must admit beyond that, had no idea on who or what they had done.

Somebody mentioned could Cash and Galloway be done?

Could be they are? Here are the entries for Hangzhou ATP 250

1 Nathaniel Lammons / Jackson Withrow 52 52
2 Sander Gille / Joran Vliegen 70 70
3 Ariel Behar / Robert Galloway 81 81
4 Julian Cash / Lloyd Glasspool 81 81
Jamie Murray / John Peers 86 86

Arevalo and Pavic are on fire - the best team at the moment - so going to be a challenge. I personally think that Pavic is the best doubles player when at his best.

A good spot Jon. Sometimes doubles pairs mix things up, but let's see. I would love there to be an all-GB pair again.

I may be wrong but I think they were thinking about splitting last year but then pulled it back together for the title here out of nowhere.

I do think the partnership has run its course now though.

Bizarre post this, so apologies. Just checking tickets for Ashe stadium today, available for about $100? Im confused, why so cheap? Wimbledon they would be £1000 plus!

That was the impression I had, and neither of them would be particularly happy with the results they've had this year so it wouldn't surprise me at all. Ram obviously did well at the Olympics as well so that might play into things. I reckon a lot of pairs in the top 50 looking to change things up (same with Bopanna and Ebden with the latter doing well at Olympics)

any insights on Julian and Lloyd - looks like Julian may have split from Galloway, would Julian and Lloyd be just a stop gap?

presumably Henry and Harri are a secure pairing ?
