Oh that's such a shame. Did amazing from a set and a break down, *0-40 at *5-5 in the second, and a break down again in the third to get to *5-5 and be right in the mix. But Asia really tightened up and made two bad errors in that game to be broken, and a nervy Siniakova closed it out.

So close, but not to be

Yes, some poor errors near the end, but Siniakova was the one who was the most nervous - at one of the change of ends she looked close to tears.

Doesn't look like Muhammad as a permanent partner at the moment. Would be great if she and Hev can play together again.

Obviously disappointed they didnt win after coming so close BUT first set aside it was such a pleasure to watch. When you see Heather in an environment like this, her absolute love for the game is so apparent.To see her confident, laughing, taking charge, smiling and serving well really is the Heather we love to see.

Harriet and Diane are first match on Court 5 (4pm)
Liv and Tereza are second match on Court 17 (after another doubles, starting at 6pm) around 7:30 pm maybe.

Did a good job of frustrating their seeded opponents, but not quite enough.
Harriet having a debate with the umpire after the match - I missed the start of it so can't comment.

That's a shame. Not because Chan and Kudermetova aren't a world class pair, but their recent form isn't up to much.
