Interesting, good to hear I think.

The college route certainly seems to be the go to route now for our aspiring players - are there any of our stronger 18/19 year olds that arent taking the college route?

Would say this is the most wise decision for the kid. 4 years in college will hopefull let his body and game mature and ready to go pro later on as what I've seen off him he still small and slight, so he would be out matched trying to slug it out with the pro right now.

I do wonder seeing the success of Jacob going down this rout has played a part in his decision.

Think McHugh should have went down this route too seeing him struggling the last 2 years.

Interesting little 15 mins film of Charlie at the NTC on the ITF site

www.itftennis.com/en/news-and-media/articles/day-in-the-life-charlie-robertson/

Near the start he talks about now going down the pro route - that didnt date very well, now he has chosen to go to college per above comments from Lambda!
