Winning a match when you lose 5 games in a row from 5-1 up takes some courage against a quality opponent. Hope Fran has enough left in the tank as Shibahara is more of a doubles specialist although can play well in singles.

I was worried about the length and competitiveness of Fran's match taking too much out of her, but the only ray of light was that Shibahara's match was really long and finished about an hour after all the other women's singles matches were completed, so I think both players will be physically and mentally drained, so hopefully the really late finish and length of match for Shibahara may give Fran a much better chance.
Yeah Hev missed some game points to consolidate the first break and it's been a struggle since. Not playing a great level - shame but Sasnovich isn't having a day of spraying which doesn't help.
Sonay was a massive favourite for this match. Dont know why but it looks justified.
I guess having qualified for Wimbledon she's shown she can do it (and then reaching the third round).
It's very hard to get through the three rounds but I wouldn't bet against her.
Yes, Wimbledon in particular but her form in general over the last few months after having been out from January through to April has been very impressive.
Yes, I'd looked for decent odds but the betting reflected my enthusiasm.
