How many British main draw wins will we get at the US Open 2024?

Going slightly early this time as I will be away on hols from tomorrow and its easier to post before I go:

Below is the recent record in terms of wins and in terms of board members who have won this:

Main draw wins count from all 5 disciplines. In doubles a win counts as one in the tally regardless of whether just one or both players in the pair are British. Also, a win by retirement counts as a win, but a walkover ie no ball hit doesnt count as a win for the tally.
As we had 26 wins last year, I reckon putting that nicely in the middle works and will do the poll on that basis.

Finally - poll will close to votes next Saturday night, 24th August, at 10pm.

updated recent roll of honour:

AO 2023 - 20 wins

FO 2023 - 15 wins

Wimbledon 2023 - 30 wins

US Open 2023 - 26 wins

AO 2024 - 21 wins

FO 2024 - 13 wins

Wimbledon 2024 - 40 wins

Recent prediction winners:

AO 2023 - Coup Droit, Indiana and one other un named person!!

FO 2023 - Miriam abc and JonH Comes Home

Wimbledon 2023 - Miriam abc

US Open 2023 - Elegant Point

AO 2024 - Elegant Point and Goldfish.

FO 2024 - Mdewey and two other un named people!!

Wimbledon 2024 - Indiana

Paris Olympics - Miriam abc

So , can Elegant Point, Goldfish , Mdewey or Indiana get a second slam of the year at the US Open? Will EP defend their US title? Ive also noted that Strongbow headed up the year long rankings I produced for the first three slams; and Miriam came back to form with glory at the Olympics.

Yep, lots of contenders for glory!

And please say what you vote for so we can keep a tab on who wins - if youd dont say, you cant really win, at least not publicly!

Im going early - and clearly this is no more than a wild guess - as Im not going to around much this next week (was due to be flying off on hols at 7 am but plane is delayed until 2pm due to bad weather at the destination!)

Anyway, Ill get vote in and say 22 wins, mens doubles will probably dominate but my thinking is

Mens singles 2
Womens singles 4
Mens doubles 10
Womens doubles 2
Mixed doubles 4

And I hope Im wrong!

I see we have a vote for 35 or more. Please say who you are and I can collate the entries when Im back (or it would be great if someone else was good enough to collate entries next Sunday?!). Reminder, vote will close next Saturday at 10pm.

19. No Cam, Dan has no form in singles, and I don't think Joe and Rajeev will win four titles in a row. Mixed - usually Joe and Neal play, maybe Jamie too but obviously all very unknown. Women - could be good and could be bad.

Hopefully I've woefully underestimated!

Reminder this vote closes on Saturday at 10pm.

Only 3 votes so far / if you vote, please remember to try and say what number of wins you predict so we can see who wins at the end!

Thank you !

Voted a pessimistic 20. Lacking male singles players - Jack unpredictable, Evo off form. Ladies could do well and lots of chances in doubles. Hope to be wrong.

Edit - couldnt remember if I pressed the vote button so voted again. Apologies if I voted twice, if thats possible.

I've voted 24, hoping we get some qualifiers through to the main draw and a win or two from them.
