Any result for Kristina here will be a mega achievement. This is a huge step up from the earlier rounds and will be a good indicator of where Kristina is at. Kari was Michigan's #1 and finished the season ranked 5 in college tennis with 30 wins and 9 losses. Kari played Kristina's former teammate Millie Rajecki twice in February losing the first 5-7 4-6 and the second abandoned at 1-1 in the decider after sharing tie-breaks in the first 2 sets. Kari defeated WR166 Talia Gibson in Lexington a couple of weeks ago with a bagel 2nd set and has had narrow losses to WR177 and WR218 in recent weeks.

Thanks Lambda. I did a google search for Karina but the college connection didn't come up - I knew you would have the info though !

Live ranking has her currently at WR13**, but when these 10 points go on she'll jump about 300 places.
