Weeks 33 & 34 - ATP Masters 1000 - Cincinnati, OH, USA

I think Jack is getting frustrated it isnt as easy as he hoped/ expected right now. Might be wrong. And yes, fair comment. Needs to get his head into a place to beat these types of players more easily, Munar is solid and not easy but on an American hard court, Jack should have him.

Jack , IMO, should beat Tsitsipas as well.

Ive not seen how Harriet acts so cant comment- I dont mind racquet smashing, Jack did it after a rubbish drop shot and I sort of get it. But he does seem to be all over the place recently and hope he reins it in. Maybe been taking lessons from Rublev.

Yea its a strange turn of behaviour. Media will be quick to jump on it if he doesnt rein it in me thinks JonH.

He doesn't seem to be quite at the level he was before he started getting those injuries. I don't quite know why as before he looked like he could beat anyone on his day and now he doesn't quite look at that level. Not sure why, maybe he's training more to be resilient and not break down than being explosive? Just guessing. Any other views from the experts here?

Still obviously a very good player but I can see why he's frustrated even though smashing rackets won't help and isn't a good look.

Maybe it helps him for now.  I unfortunately didn't see the match.  I presume  he wasn't also raging at others?  Umpire or team?.  That is the behaviour that I wouldn't like to see.

Actually Jack was saying a couple of months ago that he had to become more attacking rather than grind out matches in the way that got him to #40. He wasn't satisfied with that so needed to change up to make the step up to where he wanted to go.

I found it a little curious at the time and whatever he has been trying to do of late doesn't seem to be particularly

That's interesting. It's not how I saw it from watching him play. As I say I used to think he could beat pretty much anyone when he was on song, but as you say whatever is happening now doesn't seem to be working brilliantly (obviously it's all relative and taking into account he's still playing at a very good level around the top 30!).  Hopefully it's just a blip.

Yes, I see that. Strange because if you copy and paste the link into a browser it seems to work.
