Sascha is one of the clutch of French players who was very promising as a junior and hasn't quite done anything with it

He was #7 in the world, made the SFs at Wimbledon, and the US open......

But is now 21, hsa only got up to 350 or so, and is currently outside the top-500

Certainly a dangerous player - at times - but the key point being 'at times'

Are you saying, then, that you think that Kyle is actually in with a chance?

I'm a glass half-full sort of person biggrin

But look at Sascha at Roehampton - he won his R1 match 7-5 in the third

He won his R2 match against Harry Wendelken 7-5 in the third

He lost to Stuart Parker in July

He lost to Nicolas Jadoun in July too - who's outside the top-1000, and fairly so

It's definitely not really convincing ......

(That said, Kyle's level hasn't been anything really to write home about either so I'm not putting the house on Kyle smile)

Well, whatever happens in the end, I'm going to claim dibs on this one, SC

Kyle most definitely has a chance

He lost the first set 3-6

Was a break down - and even match point down - in the second

But has come back to break, and then break again, to win the second set 7-5

No idea which way it'll go -but he's most certainly in there
