Our top 6 singles ranked players here all play tomorrow. And 2 of them meet, so we'll get one player through anyway

Not a great showing in the 1st round.

Could be a wipeout in the second round.

Im hoping for a big week for Hannah or Mimi or both.

Well done Beth, especially after such a close second set.

Some impressive runs of points there - 13 in a row in the first set and 10 in the third. WOud have been nice if she had served it out in the second set though.

Beth has 6 points coming off in the next rankings run, replaced by 4, so these 8 points covers that nicely.

Mimi has waltzed through the first set 6-2

Although she was 5-0 and Diana is playing a little better now

Hannah is a break up

Mimi is more confident attacking her opponent's serve than defending her own serve.

Her first serve completely deserted her hmm

And the near end seems to be more of a struggle

But the second set has started better

Hannah 3-0

Mimi won 6-2 6-3, decent performance after quite a few quiet months.
