 Good though that these 70 points from the last 2 weeks have effectively covered all she had due to come off for the rest of the year, pretty much already ensuring she stays top 200 and will get into Aus Open qualifying.

I read earlier re the thoughts that she might still have some injury concerns so possibly even more preferring to stay nearer base for just now.

It will be interesting to see her schedule after the US Open. Certainly Wimbledon and then how she has dominated these W35s do suggest that she is very ready to step up. And as I indicated, she can do so having protected her top 200 ranking for the rest of the year.
