So glad that Millie B defeated Monnot - Vic Allen was SO close at 13-11 yesterday - and Amandine's tennis is really not that great

A third counter and a ranking for Brooke. Millie is now 1 point away from a ranking.

So close for Ciara. That was her 9th match since Tuesday with no day off. Having travelled from Ilkley on Saturday, she now travels back up north to Newcastle to play on her third different surface in less than a week!

No idea how that happened - I copied and pasted the draw from the ITF website and then edited it for rankings and layout. It must have been wrong when first posted as I didn't actually type a single name myself !

The ITF site often has glitches I think it's sent to try us.....

Can't help it but NINE Japanese players seems just a tad overkill, no? .....

There were more Japanese, but they didn't make it through qualifying. And I'm sure the glitch was the LTA, not the ITF for a change.

 I don't think SHE has been given any criticism at all. Far from it.

I think the LTA has been questioned (and criticised) as to why Brooke has been given so many wildcards (do we make this seven now?)

But that's quite different. No fault her end.

And as to winning here, that's cherry-picking - she lost last week 1 & 1 in QR1 to Daley.

Yes, this week thankfully is better. But it hardly is a game-changer. Even if she were to win the whole dang thing, the questions re the LTA would still be valid.
