This will be Lee Anne's third main tour match - she's still to win a game.
I see that Elena Calzada De Castro (ESP) played in qualifying again for the third year running (she's 17 and must be local). In five attempts her best score was a 2 & 2 loss. Today was another double-bagel.
Still waiting for the main draw to come out, but won't be long as they have just published the doubles.
L16:- Freya Christie (GBR) / Yuliana Lizarazo (COL) CR329 (144+185) v Katarzyna Piter (POL) / Fanni Stollar (HUN) CR204 (90+114) [2]
I've no idea about the Colombian player, and it's a shame to be drawn against the 2nd seeds, but very glad that Freya is playing with someone else
Lizarazo is 31 years old and has won 18 doubles titles, all but three on clay. Just one this year - a W75 in Caserta in June. Should be a good partner if they can gel.

Doesn't one have to play with someone else in doubles?
Well, I can think of quite a few doubles partners where, tbh, you'd be better off telling them to sit in the sidelines, and take all the balls yourself
But, yup, I guess you're right
I'm glad she's no longer playing with Lissey is what I meant .... duh....
