 Well done both biggrinbiggrin.

Holly loses 15 this week so she'll be +20 in a weeks time - Ella will be +34.

Good stuff.

Ella's 4th doubles title in a row, with now 14 consecutive wins.

Her 8 titles ( 2 singles, 6 doubles ) this year is more than any other British senior or junior.

They are entered again next week - overall field is a similar level but the pairs are different.

Apart from it maybe being quite a while yet before they would be closing in on WTA entry level, even if they were to continue to play regularly together and at higher ITF levels, surely Ella will be prioritising singles progress, and choosing tournaments relevant to that. With another good week here, at just turning 19 yo, she will now be closing further in on the top 500 in singles.

Interesting discussion about Ella and Holly but no-one seems to have noticed that Sonay has won 7-5 6-1, her 5th tournament win this year.

Brilliant. Well done Sonay.

Every bits Ive watched this week she seemed to be playing within herself and upped her game when needed.

Apparently that's Holly's target as well.

Holly came within a bad linecall of beating the WR437 on the day after the doubles final, so she has the potential. Just needs a few wins to get into main draws and earn some points. It will be interesting to see which tournaments they go for over the next few weeks.
