Great to go off facing a break point and knowing that the girl you are playing will come out strong in the morning.....Bally earns a break at last and for a change.

I think Bally is great, to have stuck in with all her injuries and set backs is really inspiring. I really hope she can win this match!

Bally is on court and she breaks serve to reduce the deficit to 3-1. However, unfortunately Hsu breaks the Baltacha serve in the next game and has the double break again at 4-1

Bally is still pressing hard, she must break now to have any chance and she's got 15-30 on the Hsu serve.

Bally breaks on her 2nd opportunity and it's now 4-2.

If she can hold here, she's right back in this set at 4-3.

I'm tempted to think that the RG scoreboard has got the arrow which shows who's serving, the wrong way round.

This is bizarre, both players are finding it much easier to break than to hold.

Hsu is "serving" for the match and Bally now has 0-30

Neither player has held serve yet today.

Deuce now, c'mon Bally, keep fighting.

Elena lost 6-7 [7], 6-2, 6-2

Hsu took the match on her 4th match point. Very disappointing from a British point of view. Keothavong had the best chance of qualifying but I reckon that her chances were messed up by playing in Strasbourg.

On to Surbiton now.

It seems several people are unsure as to who Elena actually lost to !!!!

The BBC say that it's Hsu while Neil Harman says that it's Savrinsky of Israel !!!
