Marni just missed out on the main draw as the five above her all appear to have got in.

Very windy as always here. Emily loses 6-4 6-3 but played pretty well given it's been a couple of months. Beth saved a set point at *4-5, but recovered to take the set 7-5 and will hopefully be ok from here.

Misses a point for a double break then broken from *30-0 so all square again at 2-2*. I had no idea Cabrera's ranking had fallen so low.

Both girls struggling with the wind on serve. Beth got a hold and led 5-3* but missed a match point and went *15-40 down. Fortunately Cabrera goes long three points in a row and Beth takes the match

I hadn't realised that Cabrera had been as high as 119. She appears to have drifted down to around the 250-300 mark, but did miss three months at the beginning of the year and hasn't really achieved much since then.
