I cant see how some of the top women will be able to go straight from the Olympics to the WTA 1000..or am I wrong? Just thinking Emma might get elevated to main draw or a WC?

 There are only a very few out of the top 50 ( 5 + doubles) left in the Olympics so those few have time to get there. Quite a few are in Washington so will be in Toronto. But adjust to hard courts after clay at RG is another matter.

Jamie is now into the draw with Grigor Dimitrov which I did not think was even allowed. He is the only doubles player to have infiltrated these on site supposedly singles only entries. Jack Draper has entered with Sinner.

Julian and Lloyd were first and second in the alts a few hours ago but in the new on site alts list Julian is down to fifth and Lloyd has disappeared altogether with Matos down with Melo.

Still one repair to be confirmed. It is possible Lloyd is teaming up with Mektic.

The trial allows for top 10 singles players to pair with a top 50 doubles player.
