Week 29 - ATP 250 - Infosys Hall of Fame Open - Newport, RI, USA (grass)

Billy has an exciting summer ahead - in fact the guys that played here (Jake and Charlie ) and Paul Jubb and others playing in the USA events have a great chance in tour and challenger events to press on up the rankings - second half of summer through the US Open should be worth following

Ouch: Billy won 4 return points in the match. And served 8 double faults. A day to forget.

Unlucky Billy but still not all that used to this level yet.

Agreed.  If someone had said a year ago that we would be disappointed in Billy not making the QF in an ATP250, I think that person would have been laughed at.

He has come so far in the last 12 months.

Yes, tbf the final scoreline is actually rather kind to Billy. But he's allowed an off day.

At least it lets him play in the Fantasy grass masters that could easily have clashed with this wink

That is a shame, and they had a match point too. But Saville has been a good doubles player and Vukic plays good singles. But a chance for some good points this week.
