Well done, Billy!

Not so great from Jake. cry I watched some of that and it was very up and down and unfortunately more down than up: some really lovely crisp ball striking and then some really sloppy looking errors (and a couple of horrors at the net). I think my expectations may have been set too high by the way he was playing earlier in the grass season and I need to remember it'll take him a while to get comfortable and comsistent at this level. smile

Billy really puts in the miles doesn't he! No huge counters off for a few months but even then he has decent non counters and events to come to counter any... great efforts!

 Hopefully- tennis abstract rates Billy for a QF position and is 6th highest likelihood to win the title. Lets hope they prove well founded in their forecast

Harris in a tie break having been broken serving for the set. And this is after having break points in nearly every one of Diallos service games. Hopefully he wins it or it will be tough to take.

McDonald saw off Hijikata (8) in three sets in his first round match.
