As Indy implied, bit ridiculous that in the FQR there are only 2 players who are ranked in the top-1000 (and that's not because they all got knocked out in QR1 )

But a really super net set of results - seven GB girls earning their way into the MD of a W50

Good luck to all

Plus 6 direct entries and 4 wildcards, so 17 GB in total

I think it is now 7 direct entry 3 wildcards one LL and 7 qualifiers, 18 in total with Eliz Maloney as the LL.

Well, Lambda will be thrilled :smiled:

And me too

The LTA have smiled on our US college players and given them wildcards

Really pleased to see Grace, and Vic too (Millie obviously has been more on the scene already)

Shame that Mimi drew Marni but hey....

Not sure I've ever seen a 50k first round with 18 Brits before, lovely to see! Feel for Heather tho.

There were a number of withdrawals over the weekend, but it looks like Zelnickova is the one that created the LL place as she is the only one who withdrew on Sunday.
Katy and Ranah withdrew on Saturday.

20 Brits. You've missed the great Florida State team of Vic and Millie! They're WCs as are Lily and Jess.

The ITF draw doesn't show the wild cards, but I've added them in along with all the rankings. They aren't the only pairs of unranked players though.
