Bulgaria satellite - week 4 - masters

Main draw: Myles just scraped in with 6 points

Rd1: M Blake [GB] v M Zekic [Scg]

Myles is heavy favourite against the 17 year old unranked player from Serbia and Montenegro.

Zekic has only once won a main draw match, that was in week 2 of this satellite.

If Myles wins he will play 6th seed Yordan Kanev [Bulgaria] in rd2. Kanev is ranked 1056.

Myles deserves some luck.

His match will have finished by now. Trying to find out the result.

Unfortunately, Myles' horrible time in Bulgaria continues, losing to an unranked player.

Rd1: M Zekic [Scg] bt M Blake [GB] 7-6[5], 6-3

I expect he'll be quite pleased that this satellite has finished. He definately will not have enjoyed his time on the Bulgarian clay.

Myles will be now off to Sousse in Tunisia where he'll play a 10K futures tournament on clay next week. The field is fairly week with all the players bar the top seed being ranked outside the top 500. Myles has just sneaked into the main draw.

Boooooo!

Myles will want to forget all about Bulgaria, and pretend it doesn't exist.

Perhaps the msteries of Africa will hold more excitement for him!

Lol

He's playing a series of futures in Tunisia which should be an interesting test for him. Hopefully he can pick up quite a few ranking points there as the fields are generally fairly weak.

He's always struggled quite a bit on clay, it's a shame that he won't get any chances to play on grass this year apart from a couple of futures in Britain in July/August, as that's probably his best surface.
