June player of the month vote - semi final group two

So here we are - 22 players in two groups of 11 - Ive tried to spread and balance the players, but apologies if your personal favourites clash. 

Top 3 plus ties go through to the final, however no Players with zero votes will progress. 

votes will close at 11 pm tomorrow , Sunday evening. The final will be posted shortly thereafter and run through until Tuesday. 

its been a magical month for British tennis, so lets vote as a sign of appreciation to our players! 

all 22 players and their supporting narrative can be found in the link below - only 11 will be in each group so choose carefully

This group is harder than the other as there are, for me, 5 really strong contenders

Neal had two titles in a return to the winners circle

Jake won the challenger title for a career best week

Charlie had a great month and kept on pulling out great results

Katie won her third WTA title in Nottingham

Paul had a career week in Mallorca, from qualies, and beating the world 14.

I think that took it for me, Ive voted Paul, but hope he and the other 4 make it to the final with a bunch of ties for the top 3 places!

Voting for Paul. Wondering whether recency bias. But like Billy, it just captures my imagination. Jake Fearnley's was an extraordinary effort too.

Paul and Jake stand out for me and will probably contest the final with Billy and Jack, but I'm voting for Ella who put in some solid performances at the start of the month and was unlucky not to be involved in the wildcard playoffs.

This group is harder than the other!

Lovely return to form by Neal. Paul getting a chance to properly showcase his talent at last and go deep in some big events. Alfie and Gordon for the difficult task of continuing to dominate their event.

But it's got to be Jake for me from this group. He had the mental toughness as well as the tennis skill to win his first big event. I enjoyed watching him play for the small amount of it I managed to see. And that moment with the upset little girl was very sweet and kind (although he clearly also found it weird and awkward) and took me from being excited about his peformances to making him into one of my new faves.

Close between Jake and Ella. But Ella just edges it as her run was completely unexpected.
