For two supposedly top doubles players Gauff and Pegula are being totally outclassed by Hsieh and Mertens.

Taylor Townsend & Katerina Siniakova are the champions beating Gabriela Dabrowski & Erin Routliffe. Deserved first (senior) GS title for Townsend.

Have to say coach Dan Kiernan has done wonders with the latter completely maximising their strengths. It is not often you get a pair with no top end singles careers competing for Slams like this on the womens side.

And also Olivia Nicholls with Diane Parry beat the champions in Bad Homburg and Harriet Dart with Diane Parry lost 11-9 in the 3rd in the final of Nottingham to the finalists.
